I have been involved in health care since the age of 14 years when I became a first responder (now called EMR) in the state of Minnesota. I followed this up with my licensure as an emergency medical technician (EMT) at 18 years old. I worked voluntarily as an EMT throughout my undergraduate degree at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN. I then continued my health care experience by working as an EMT on a paid service in Hutchinson, MN while going to school for Paramedicine at South Central College. Deciding to advance my education I was promptly accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. I have previously worked full time as a physical therapist for Allina Health, and part time for River’s Edge in St. Peter, Benedictine skilled nursing facility, Remedy Therapies and On-Site Solutions Physical Therapy. My desire to own my own business has always been my goal of interest because I believe it allows the best balance between a professional and home life while at the same time allowing for the best possible care to every patient that comes through my doors.

Receiving my Doctorate is an amazing achievement, but my greatest honor is becoming a husband to an individual who makes me a better person,
and a father to a lovely little girl (not so little anymore) and baby boy (definitely not a baby anymore) who bring joy and inspiration to my life. Owning my own practice gives me the time and ability to watch them grow and become wonderful individuals. Therefore, I am fully dedicated to your care because it directly influences the way I am able to raise my children. Ultimately, giving you the key to your body will allow you to reach your highest potential for both yourself and the passions in your life that keep you going from day to day.

I am a current sophomore at Minnesota State University - Mankato studying Exercise Science Pre-Physical Therapy with a Sports Medicine minor.
I am also the treasurer for the Pre-Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy club on campus. Growing up I was involved in a variety of sports but dance was the one I committed to the most. With 15 years of dancing under my belt I had quite a few injuries that required physical therapy. It was through those experiences that I realized I too wanted to become a Physical Therapist in order to help others the way I was and get them back to the activities they love.

Some things about me include that I am the middle child of three with an older sister and a younger brother. I was born in Rochester, MN but grew up in the very small town of Mantorville, MN. I have a life goal of visiting all 63 National Parks in the United States. I love rollercoasters and anything to do with the outdoors and my hobbies consist of reading, hiking, and traveling.
